Oriental Beauty
東方美人 (台茶12)
Honey Light Roast Muscatel Grape Peach
Named by a queen. Made by an insect.
The legend: a Taiwanese tea farmer brought this tea to a British exhibition, where Queen Victoria was so taken by its flavor that she named it Oriental Beauty.
The reality: leafhopper bites trigger a natural chemical reaction that creates the tea's signature honey-muscatel character.
Our tea master crafted this iconic tea with cultivar TTES No. 12. Honey, ripe peach, muscatel grape, and a champagne-like lightness. A tea with more layers per sip than any other.
